So after spending literally an entire day at court (public drinking- St. Patrick's Day, I mean c'mon!) I decided to go music shopping. Right about now, I feel, is the time when all the fun shit comes out. I mean we have Rex the Dog coming out with what are going to be yet another two amazing remixes- one for Röyksopp and a reunion remix for The Knife! And then, one of my many musical obsessions, Mr, Erlend Øye, is releasing his side project's, The Whitest Boy Alive's, first album next month. And then on top of it all Kitsuné is releasing Kitsuné Maison 2 in June!

And without further ado, I give the gifts of my own language:

Exchpopture: Lost and Found

Don't know much about them. But this one's on the original Kitsuné Maison and I totally love the camp of it all. It kind of reminds me of something that would have been on the Party Monster soundtrack- I don't care what you say, but I've always obsessed over that soundtrack. I'm such a gay.

On a similar electro 2001 scale, I present I-F, whose known more as Ferenc. This one's from his wesome Fucking Consumer 12". He's actually from The Hague, Holland and this particular song has always just made me just move like an alien. Naturally it's called:

I-F: Space Invaders Are Smoking Grass

Which brings me to this one, which I picked up off of Idol Tryouts: Ghostly International Vol. 1. Apparently it was released previously on the label on a post-electroclash compilation entitled Disco Nouveau: Addendum. I may not exactly know what I'm talking about with this one. Give it a shot.

Charles Manier: At the Bottle

So I grabbed the new Alex Smoke, Paradolia, today. It totally got me by surprise. I just didn't even really notice that it was about to come and upon seeing it so neatly displayed...of course I had to get it. The first track's from his previous album, Incommunicado, and was the first Smoke song to grab me and hold me mentally sedative in all the good ways. His style of minimal house music has a voice of its own that's morbidly sweet yet brilliantly melancholic at the same time. The second track is jut a brilliant piece from Paradolia.

Alex Smoke: No Consequence

Alex Smoke: We Like It Insipid

And finally Dj T. from Get Physical. I painfully forgot my Boogie-Playground visting my best friend Eric, in Baltimore. So I bought the Cd because it had three additional tracks than the vinyl copy.

DJ T.: Rave d'Amour
